Daily Prompt: Papa Loves Mambo.
There was a very popular song when I was one year old. The singer pointed to audiences or TV cameras in time with the lyric “Only you.” Some of his fans fainted when he pointed them.
One-year-old I really loved the gesture and always sang “only you” pointing to someone. I am my parents’ first child and my grandparents’ first grandchild. They cheerfully laughed at me when I made the gesture with singing. It made me so proud. I made the gesture again and again, and my parents and grandparents laughed every time.
Did that experience influence my musical taste? I love pop music.
