When I visited the Trevi Fountain with my friend, the fountain was under construction. It was surrounded by high transparent plastic walls. We could see the fountain through the walls, but we couldn’t approach nearer, blocked by the wall.
My friend and I stood against the wall to throw coins to the fountain because that’s the reason why we visited there.
I, a good thrower, successfully thew my coin into the fountain, then, I heard a bang behind me. A coin suddenly came from somewhere on the road in front of me and sparkled.
I didn’t understand what happened.
“Oh my! My coin was rejected!” My friend cried.
According to the fountain’s prophecy, I might go to Rome without her next time.
